Chris Floyd: 140 Characters
Internationally acclaimed, award winning portrait photographer and film maker Chris Floyd was feeling lonely. In 2010 he decided to begin photographing people that he followed on Twitter. The project ended where it had to; after 140 characters, the maximum length of a tweet. ‘One Hundred and Forty Characters’ is a cutting edge project and an unique portrait collection of 140 individuals. The exhibition is the culmination of Floyd’s quest to put faces to the online Twitter names that he had become familiar with online.
