Christmas Parties

Bad weather, bad colds and the general Christmas wind down mean that we have decided not to programme an Art Walk for December. However this week you have 2 opportunities to come and join us for a bit of Christmas cheer at the Pavilion and PSL Christmas do’s! We hope to see you there but if you can’t make it have very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

WEDNESDAY 15th December, 6pm-late at Pavilion.

You are invited to join Pavilion for a Christmas party with guest artist
Lucy Skaer. Lucy will talk about her work and show some of her recent films.
The party will continue with mulled wine and ambient sound by Joe Gilmore.

Lucy Skaer is a visual artist who works in sculpture, film, video and
installation. Her work explores the relationship between viewer and image,
altering normal processes of interpretation to create ruptures between what
is seen and what is understood. Lucy represented Scotland in the 52nd Venice
Biennale and was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2009. She will be
commissioned by Pavilion to make a new work in 2011.

Pavilion is located at 7 Saw Mill Yard, Round Foundry, LS11 5WH
